Renovation Work

As part of our continued commitment to enhance our property and service, we are in the process of renovating our rooms and buildings. The conditions of the walls and interiors that were in a depressed state are getting a new makeover. Along with the volunteers, our staff has been working unitarily on the project this winter.

The renovating work is in progress, such as sanding and painting the windows, slating the walls of the building for protection from rain and moisture. We leak-proofed the roof and are face-lifting the pathways of the residential buildings, along with some Gardening works in the vicinity.

We also have two new additions of statues in our temple. The two beautiful statues are of Avalokiteshvara or Chenrezig and Manjushri respectively. Geshe Lhundup Khewang and the monks from Gyume Monastery have consecrated the statues. We are now working on painting and gilding the statues after which the statues will be encrusted with semi-precious stones to add further dimension to the statues.

We will keep you posted on the developments. Stay happy, stay healthy.
