“When your mind is in meditative equipoise, you will understand reality just as it is.”
– Buddha
In this course, Geshe Ngawang Thekchok, who has undergone 22 years of training at a traditional monastic institute, will provide clear guidance on the benefits of meditation. He will delve into how meditation can help us quell our negative emotions and teach us how we can abide in the natural tranquillity of the mind. Focussing mainly on Shamatha as a meditative technique, he will discuss in detail preliminary preparation and the challenges in cultivating an effective practice.
This course is designed for everyone, whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner seeking to enhance your meditation practice. Geshela will inspire us to integrate meditation into our daily lives, drawing insights from classical texts like Je Tsongkhapa’s The Stages of the Path to Enlightenment.
